Euclid Racing was formed by A. Matthew Rodgers. It was formed so that the average race fan could enjoy the racing business from an ownership perspective. Come join us and watch your horse from the ownership box. Make your win bet, yell at the top of your lungs as they come down the stretch, then join your family and fellow members get your picture taken in the winners circle. The sport of kings is awaiting you!!!!!

Currently On the Farm
Our first home bred foal currently residing on Considine Farm just outside of Lexington, KY . Sired by Sahara Sky out of an Elusive Quality mare, he was born on Sunday March 8th 2020. He weighed an astonishing 126 lbs. Perhaps he can make the starting gate Saturday May 6th, 2023.
FAQ
How does it work?
Each horse we syndicate, becomes its own llc formed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This allows for everyone who has bought into that horse to become a voting member of that LLC.
What are the costs?
After your initial share purchase, shares start at $1000, there will be on going expenses and those are spread equally among the shareholders based on the amount of shares in that horse. We call these expenses to the shareholders a cash call in the racing business. If a cash call is needed, it is billed on a quarterly basis. We readily keep a reserve after the purchase to pay for the first 3 to 6 months of expenses. If a cash call is needed, it would b e billed $100 per share assuming 100 shares in the horse.
How are shareholders kept up to date?
All communication to the members is through our website, email and social media such as facebook and twitter. During the racing season, these are generally done on a monthly basis with updates as needed. All race notifications are posted and emailed as soon as they are confirmed. Financials will only be communicated via email and USPS.
Are Euclid horses insured
Yes, all of our horses carry a mortality policy that also insures for a few surgical procedures as well. Also, Euclid Racing carries a 1 million general liability policy to insure each of our members are insured personally.
Where do the horses race?
During the spring, summer and fall seasons, our horses primarily run in Kentucky. Keeneland and Churchill Downs in the Spring, Ellis Park in the Summer and then back to Keeneland and Churchill in the fall. Currently during the winter we have been racing in Florida either at Tampa Bay Downs or Gulfstream Park. However, in the past we have raced our horses at Arlington Park in Chicago, Indiana Grand in Indianapolis, Belterra Park in Cincinnati but we try to stay based either in Kentucy or Florida.
